November 6th, 2017 – St. John’s, Putnam, & Flagler Counties, FL – John T. Birney, Jr., Apprentice at JBirney Financial in Flagler Beach, recently passed the examination for Florida Health & Life (including Annuities & Variable Contracts) and is now licensed with the Florida Department of Financial Services. The exam is administered by the Division of Insurance Agent and Agency Services, under the purview of Florida's Chief Financial Officer. The license is required to transact insurance and annuity business in the state of Florida.
John Jr. joined JBirney Financial in 2014. He received his Bachelor Degree in Psychology in 2010 from the University of Central Florida. He passed the Series 7 exam in December of 2014. John Jr. is affiliated with United Planners Financial Services as a Registered Assistant.
In addition to working at JBirney Financial, John Jr. also volunteers his time as a Vice-Chair to the Young Professional's Group of Flagler County. He serves as the chair of two YPG committees: the Youth Leadership Flagler program and the Dolly Parton Imagination Library of Flagler County.
John Jr. looks forward to continuing to grow as an apprentice in the Financial Services industry to better serve the clients of JBirney Financial on the First Coast and beyond.
