John "JB" Birney

john John (JB) is in his 28th year as a financial advisor and works extensively with businesses owners, individuals and families in the financial planning and investment management areas as a registered representative with United Planners. He enjoys problem-solving with clients and helping them face the many challenges of investing in today’s changing world. Stephanie Parks serves as the “Administrative Associate” at JBirney Financial and Shannon Kenton is the “Insurance Specialist”.

John is currently a director on the Flagler Beach Chamber of Commerce Board and a Past Chairman of the St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce. He recently held a gubernatorial appointment to the board of The Early Learning Coalition of Putnam and St. Johns Counties. John is proudest of his involvement with early literacy and in helping to bring the Dolly Parton Imagination Library to the First Coast. He was a 2007 graduate of the Northeast Florida Regional Leadership Academy which represents seven counties in NE Florida.

Along with creating and preserving wealth, John educates prospects and clients on the importance of planning and partnering with a financial consultant. He has also been a community volunteer for 10 years as a radio personality, with his show “Good Morning Americana” airing every Saturday morning at 9:30am on WFCF 88.5 Flagler College Radio. He resides in Palm Coast with his wife, Gail.
